Dear Students, Parents, and Educators,

Education is not merely the transmission of information – it is the awakening of the human spirit. Every child who enters a classroom carries within them an infinite reservoir of potential, curiosity, and dreams. Our responsibility as educators, parents, and publishers is to create the right environment where this potential can flourish.

When I took voluntary retirement in 2016 after serving as Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at Government Polytechnic, Bicholim, it was not an end – it was a new beginning. I made a conscious choice to dedicate my remaining years entirely to the mission of transforming how we educate our children in India.

The National Education Policy 2020 is a historic document that recognizes what educators and parents have known for decades – that our children need more than rote learning. They need activity-based learning, critical thinking skills, emotional intelligence, and a love for knowledge. VAPrakashan was created to make this vision a reality on the ground.

Through our books, workshops, and the E-School platform, we have had the privilege of reaching over 16,500 parents across all talukas of Goa, training hundreds of headmasters and teachers, and publishing more than 60 books that put experiential learning at the centre of education.

Our book "Parenting Skills Mastery" – which has been translated into Hindi and Marathi and acclaimed by 30+ national and international education experts – reflects our deep belief that parents are the first and most important teachers in every child's life.
